Does PrecisionZ Barbershop take walk-ins?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome every day from 9 AM to 8 PM. Booking online holds your barber and your time, so book ahead on Friday evenings and weekends if you want a particular chair.
How much is a haircut at PrecisionZ?
A men's clipper cut is $40 and a kids cut for ages 1 to 12 is $35. A cut with hairline enhancement is $50, cut and beard is $55, and the PrecisionZ Makeover (cut, wash, beard and brows) is $80. Each barber sets their own prices, so check the price on your booking.

Where is PrecisionZ Barbershop?
We are at 6906 Miramar Rd, Suite D, San Diego, CA 92121, with free parking. The shop is on Miramar Rd between I-805 and I-15, close to Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley and MCAS Miramar.
Is PrecisionZ a veteran-owned barbershop?
Yes. The owner, Jay B. Brown, is a retired U.S. Navy veteran. Ray Schwartz served eight years in the Marine Corps and learned to cut hair on deployment. PrecisionZ is Black-owned too, and everyone is welcome in our chairs.
Can you copy a haircut from a photo?
Yes, bring a picture of the cut and we will match it. Jay B can replicate almost any haircut. Lines and designs start at $55 for kids and $60 for adults, depending on the design.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes, kids cuts are $35 for ages 1 to 12. A kids cut with a design is $55 and up for ages 5 to 12. First haircuts are welcome.
Do you cut women's hair?
Yes. Shay is licensed as both a barber and a stylist. A women's long haircut is $100, and cuts with lines and designs start at $60.
Do you do beard trims and straight razor shaves?
Yes. A razor shave with hot towel is $40 and a razor line-up or beard detailing is $30. Add a beard to any cut from $55, or $60 with a razor finish.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least one hour before your appointment, or call us. Appointments missed with no notice are charged at the full price of the service.
What payment does PrecisionZ accept?
We take Visa, Mastercard and cash. Card details are held when you book online.
